Dan Leverington |
Founder & Managing Director
Dan Leverington’s understanding of global energy security isn’t theoretical; it’s generational. Visiting his first mine site at the age of four, his formative years were spent in the passenger seat of work trucks, listening to engineering tenders being won, sites constructed and multi-million-dollar projects commissioned. He speaks the language of heavy industry because he was raised in it.
This foundation naturally led to a career at the intersection of complex engineering and corporate strategy. Starting in multinational LNG, Dan recruited the elite Electrical, Control Systems, and Instrumentation Engineers responsible for delivering the massive APLNG, GLNG and QCLNG substations across Queensland.
Over the next decade, operating across the US, the UK and Australia, Dan acted as an Executive-level technology advisor to CIOs and C-suites. He scaled early-stage startups, navigated highly ambiguous regulatory environments, and built complex commercial partnership ecosystems from the ground up.
The Ocelli Group is the apex of this 20-year operational matrix.
Dan founded The Ocelli Group because he saw a massive, dangerous gap between boardroom mandates and technical execution. Today’s enterprise leaders, facing severe fuel supply shocks, geopolitical volatility and mandatory AASB S2 risk disclosures, know they must physically decouple and de-risk their supply chains. However, they lack the internal capabilities to orchestrate this massive transformation while fighting to maintain daily operational survival.
They don't need another consulting report; they need an orchestrator.
Drawing on his expertise in complex negotiation and ecosystem building, Dan acts as the "Owner's Representative" for enterprise CFOs and Risk Committees. He translates existential regulatory and supply chain threats into actionable, mathematically defensible infrastructure solutions.
Through The Ocelli Group, Dan deploys a vetted, global network of off-grid energy, data intelligence and engineering partners to physically hedge his clients' P&L against a volatile world.
